Joyce Burgess is the Owner of Bedrock Mulch & Mower and has been since 2009.
She and her husband own the business together.
Burgess says she saw a need in Milledgeville and filled it, and now they sell landscape supplies in bulk, service equipment and more.
Burgess says they wouldn’t have such a great business without one component.
“If we didn’t have customers, we couldn’t run,” she said.
And she says 90% of her customers are repeat buyers.
When asked about why she advertised on the radio, Burgess says the Oconee Radio Group stations just reach a lot of people.
“It works… all of them, it just works,” she said.
If you’re in need of supplies, Bedrock is located at 3048-A North Columbia Street. Turn in by the red mulch and go all the way to the back.
They are open 9 to 5 Tuesday through Friday and 9 to 2 on Saturdays.
