A man was shot in Athens around midnight on Friday.
Deputies went to the 500 block of Fourth Street after reports of gunshots in the area.
According to a press release from the Athens-Clarke Police Department, a 25-year-old was found shot and was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
